Free White Castle Bbq Pulled Pork Sandwich

Columbia, SC is a city known for lots and lots of chain restaurants. When you're looking for a cheap, inexpensive place to eat you don't have many options outside of the usual fast food restaurant chains. However, the one exception is a very good one. Rush's Hamburger Restaurant is a local fast food chain with eight locations around Columbia. Their food is much different from the traditional fast food hamburgers and fries.

Food will also be abundant at the Village Peddler Festival with items like creamed chicken and biscuits, slow cooker pulled pork, gourmet pizza, kettle popcorn, corn dogs, French fries, fresh lemonade, fudge, homemade pies, ice cream, funnel cakes and apple fritters for sale.

After you have the rub all over and in the easy slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches shoulder, (or butt), place the meat over the indirect heat part of the grill. And if you are using wood chips, make sure that you have soaked them for at least thirty minutes before you use them. Wet wood chips smoke way better than dry ones.

Slowcooker recipes will usually give the option of cooking either on low or high. Although you should always follow the recipe directions, after you become used to your slow cooker pulled pork, you can create your own recipes. Keep in mind that generally one hour cooking on high is the same as two hours cooking on low.

While your healthy pork roast is cooking, you need to think about the barbeque sauce you're going to use. I recommend making everything from scratch because it allows you to have better control over the quality and nutritional value of your food. If making a healthy barbeque sauce is simply out of the question, look carefully at the choices available at your grocery store. Be sure to choice a brand that is not only low in calories, but low in sodium and sugar as well.

*Note: The ideal size slow cooker for this recipe is a 4 quart one. This recipe makes 6 servings. If you are using extra lean hamburger cook it first and drain off all the grease before you put it in the slow cooker.

If beef is not a menu favorite, try tasty main dish chicken casserole for a crowd. It is different than the usual BBQ sandwiches and grocery store fried chicken, and although it calls for several ingredients, it is easy to prepare. Anyone that likes chicken will love this main dish meal.
